Firefighters Make Quick Work Of House Fire In Trevose

Firefighters from Trevose and Feasterville were quick to respond to and knock down a house fire on the 1200 block of Stiles Avenue over the weekend. A cause has not been released. The fire, reported at 3:10 PM December 28, 2019 tore through the roof of the house. Within 15 minutes of the arrival of the first truck, the bulk of the fire was knocked down. Companies stayed in service putting water on hot spots to insure it would not flare back up again. In spite of this it flared back up a few hours later .
It was declared under control at 3:34 PM. There was one minor injury reported.
