Vehicle and Driver Wanted For Fatal Hit and Run In Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Police Department needs the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle depicted in the below photo and the operator (no photo).

On Monday, April 13, 2020,  at approximately 9:53pm, a HIT-AND-RUN FATAL crash occurred in the 700 block of Callowhill Street. The unidentified male victim was crossing Callowhill Street when he was struck by a gold Honda Accord (2003-2007). The  operator of the Honda pulled over exited the vehicle, then returned to the vehicle and fled the scene westbound on Callowhill Street and southbound on 8th Street.

The victim was transported to Jefferson Hospital in critical condition; he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:35pm.

The vehicle is described as a 2003-2007, gold in color  Honda Accord with tinted windows. The passenger side front, fender, windshield, and mirror  has damage. The passenger side rear view mirror was recovered at the scene.
