A man who left his 2003 SUV running while he went into a convenience store on Sycamore Street is lucky to get it back and the males police said are responsible for stealing it are off the jail.

The incident happened on April 18 2020  at 7:41 PM . When the owner looked out the store window and saw his vehicle being driven away, he called police.  He left the vehicle running and the keys were of course in it.  There is a word for that, police say, they called that car a “puffer” . As the distraught owner gave the information to police, the description was broadcast over police radio. Police in Warrington saw the car and pulled it over. Security footage shows both males entering the vehicle. No chance for the passenger to claim he did not know the car was not stolen.

Taken into custody were Lino Perez Jr.,30,  and Brian McKendree.20, They face charges of theft and related offenses. They were shipped off the Bucks County Prison under 75,000 bail .
