Supermarket Bank Robber Sought By Police

by Alex Lloyd Gross

A male who took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic is going to face federal charges  when he is caught. He wore a mask on April 23, 2020 and went to the Citizens Bank inside the ACME on Cottman Avenue.

It was there that he handed a note to a teller and displayed a fake bomb.  The teller cooperated and the male escaped with an unknown amount of cash.  He did not escape cameras in the area that picked up his approach and escape. Police will back track with cameras to determine where he came from. If you know who he is, you can contact police, or the FBI (215) 418-4000

The subject is described as a black male in his 30s, thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, baseball cap with white bill, black shoes with white soles, and a mask over his lower face.

The FBI will be pressing charges so when he is caught, there wil no chance to plead  to lesser charges.
