Grinding Three Vehicle Crash On Roosevelt Boulevard Injures Two

At least two people were taken by medic units to local hospitals, following a three car accident on the Roosevelt Boulevard, at Lott Street, December 15, 2020. None of the injuries were considered life threatening. The accident happened when one of the vehicles ran a red light, authorities said. The crash tied up the southbound outer lanes.
Police were delayed in getting to the scene of the crash, so the fire department was forced to do traffic control. They positioned apparatus to protect vehicles until the police arrived. None of the drivers were trapped in their vehicles. One of the vehicles had the entire door skin to the passenger side door sheared off. The others sustained damage to the front end. No charges will be filed, police said.
