Car Crashes Through Fence and Hits Pole In Trevose Crash

A two vehicle crash on Old Lincoln Highway caused minor traffic delays and sent a driver to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.  The crash happened about 1:00 PM today at the intersection of Old Lincoln Highway and Horizon Drive.

A commercial truck, pulling a trailer with signs  was pulling into a lot, making a left turn across Old Lincoln Highway, when a vehicle traveling on Old Lincoln Highway slammed into the rear of the trailer, ripping off the door.  The car then veered out of control, before flipping over, hitting a utility pole and smashing through a fence. The driver of the trailer was not hurt.

The operator of the car had minor injuries. He was cut out of his car by the fire department.  Only one direction of travel on Old Lincoln Highway was temporarily closed. l
