Illegal Dirt Bike Rider Intentionally Runs Over Senior Citizen In Bensalem

Dirt bike riders are not just a problem in Philadelphia. They are a problem everywhere. People have been killed riding them in a reckless manner and countless others have been injured or killed by them. In most cases it is an accident. In Bensalem Township two dirt bike riders were riding in the area of 1600 block of Neshaminy Valley Drive last night, about 7:50PM.What happened next, was no accident, Bensalem Police said.
The illegal dirt bike rider intentionally struck a pedestrian, a 64 year old man and knocked him to the ground. Then, if that was not enough, the illegal dirt bike rider then turned around, and deliberately, intentionally drove over the senior citizen while he was still on the ground. This caused substantial life threatening injuries, police said.
In true cowardly fashion, the dirt bike rider then drove away from the scene, but not before the victim ( or a bystander) took a photo of the rider, who was with his friend, also on an illegal dirt bike.
The dirt bike rider was a male wearing a white helmet, camouflage shirt and pants, and operating a green-and-white dirt bike and was with a white male wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and operating a red dirt bike.
Police ask that anyone with information about the identity of the rider or the location of the vehicle, submit and anonymous tip or contact Bensalem Police at (215) 633-3719. The rider that was with his is going to be charged as well.
