“Shady” Contractor Arrested In Lower Southampton

Nobody likes to have to look for a contractor. You go through the estimate, you leave a deposit and then you are at their mercy. A good contractor will keep in touch with you and get the work done.An alleged bad contractor was just arrested by Lower Southampton Police. Lower Southampton Twp Police said that Stacey Ula Webb met with a potential client for a window replacement job. The client gave her $3000.00 deposit for the job that was quoted as $8050.00.
Webb took the deposit and never returned to get any work done. This was in October 2022. Tired of excuses and not seeing any work done, the client contacted police. They launched an investigation and arrested Webb earlier this week. They had a warrant for her arrest and she turned herself in.
Webb is charged with Home Improvement Fraud, Theft by Deception, Deceptive Business Practices and receiving Stolen Property. She owned MC General Contractor LLC at the time the contract was written, police said.
