by Alex Lloyd Gross

It was just before 6:30 AM today when a black male walked into the Sunoco gas station store located on the corner of Knights and Woodhaven Roads in Northeast Philadelphia. The store clerk watched him steal items and went to confront him about it.

The thief then pulled out a knife and stabbed the clerk one time in the left arm, before running away north on Knights Road. The clerk was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

Police said no arrests have been made. They are looking for a black male wearing an orange GAP hoodies, green pants. He has on red sneakers with white soles. He was also carrying a black duffel bag.

The store was closed briefly for an investigation but is now re opened.
