Several People Hurt In Roosevelt Boulevard Crash

Police said at least three people sustained serious but non life threatening injuries from a two car collision yesterday afternoon. The accident happened at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Deveraux Ave.
According to police, both vehicles were on Deveraux when one driver tried to make a left turn, to travel north on Roosevelt Boulevard, and was struck by a car in the north bound lane. This crash took place in the northbound inner lane.
Cross traffic on Deveraux was blocked from the crash and responding apparatus for about an hour. Both of the vehicles were totaled and were towed from the scene. Three medic units were called to the scene.
