Male Arrested For Opening Fake Bank Accounts In Warrington



Police in Warrington have arrested James Turk Brown after he allegedly attempted to open a bank account in the name of a person that was not him. This happened on November 11,2023. Police said that several branches of Citizens Bank had a male enter their facility and open accounts in different names across the tri- county area.

He had identification for all of those names . So when he entered the branch on Easton Road, bank tellers were aware of his scam and called police. When officers arrived, they found him in the process of trying to open an account in the name of someone else. When he was searched, he had several other identification cards on him for different people, police said.

He was arrested and charged with Access Device Fraud, Identity Theft and related charges. He was sent to Bucks County Prison by District Judge Stacy Wertman under $100,000 bail.
