Two Males Arrested For Bucks County Gift Card Scam



Ppolice in Plumstead , Bucks County report that two Asian males allegedly tried to pull a gift card scam. They were alerted by Giant employees that reported the two came into the store with gift cards that had their serial numbers compromised. The couple left the store before police arrived . This happened during the afternoon of November 28,2023.

Police were able to get security footage of the males and get their car plates. This was entered in a police computer. In the mean time, the store removed the gift cards from the rack. They were valued at $3180.00 police said. You can read about the scam and how it works here.

On December 2nd, at approximately 1829 hours, Officers from the West Goshen Police Department received a LPR (License Plate Recognition) hit on the California registration. When searching the area, the vehicle and its occupants were located in a shopping center parking lot. Pictures of the suspects were provided to West Goshen officers, who identified the occupants of the vehicle as our suspects. The suspects, who were identified as Min He and Jian He, were taken into custody and arraigned on Fugitive of Justice warrants out of Plumstead.  The He’s were committed to Chester County Prison and will be extradited back to Bucks County on their outstanding warrants.  They were both charges with:
