Repeat Offender Arrested For Multiple Acts Of Vandalism

Since 2011 Haneef Cooper has been in and out of jail for different acts of vandalism. He is 39 years old and you would think he would know better. police just arrested him last week and charged him with multiple counts of breaking windows to at least two churches and at least one business in Southwest Center City Philadelphia.
Saint John Neumann Shrine in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties suffered broken stained glass windows by bricks and rocks, police said. The damage is about $20,000.The Mother Bethel AME Church was also damaged in the same manner. Damage there is about $15,000 church officials said.
Police said Cooper allegedly broke windows at The Science History Institute in Old City, Touraine Apartments on Spruce Street, an electronics repair shop on Walnut Street, and a Playa Bowls in Center City. He was arrested late last weekat the Frankford Transportation Center. and charged this weekend with Criminal Mischief, Institutional Vandalism, and Possession of an Instrument of Crime (PIC).
