Two Arrests Made In Brutal Feasterville Comic Book Store Robbery

by Alex Lloyd Gross

Justice is coming soon for two males that allegedly beat the proprietor of the Comic Collections shop located on Bustleton Pike. It was a sneak attack that happened back in September 2022. Two males entered the store posing as customers. They asked to see an item on the top shelf and when the owner of the store, a 61 year old male got a ladder to retrieve the item, one of the thugs knocked him from the ladder and when he was down and unable to defend himself, both assaulted him in a cowardly manner with brass knuckles. They also kicked him multiple times and pulled a knife.

Police checked the area and found clothing. That clothing was taken in for DNA tests. The thieves were long gone. They could be anywhere. It turns out they were in Michigan, breaking the law over there. Police got a tip that two males employed as long haul truckers were behind the robbery. They were identified as Caleb Simpson and Zachary Tucker. from Aidrian Township Michigan.

Simpson was arrested in Michigan for trying to steal a gun. Police said his booking photo matched security camera footage of the thieves. To top it off the clothing abandoned was a DNA match.

Tucker was arrested and is now in the Bucks County Prison. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Charles D. Jonas and was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility under $300,000 bail, 10 percent. Simpson will be charged as well but for now he is in custody in Michigan.for the gun theft.

  1. I worked for Dave, back in the late 1980’s.

His store has/had some really hard-to-find items.

I hadn’t seen him in over thirty-plus years; sorry to have read about the attack on him.

No one deserves to get ambushed like that.

Glad that these guys were FINALLY caught!
