Several People Transported To Hospital After Accident In Burholme

A grinding two vehicle crash sent several people to area hospitals earlier today. The crash happened at Cottman Avenue and Bingham Street. It was reported at 12:45 PM, one vehicle was on Cottman Ave. heading towards the Roosevelt Boulevard when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction made a left turn, police said.
Two medic units were called to the scene. There was no entrapment. The injuries are said to be non life threatening. Both vehicle required towing from the scene.
There were minor traffic delays but no road closures were necessary,
