Exclusive: US Marshals Take Wanted Felon From Bensalem Into Custody
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Elovens Joseph was having fun, living his best life, less than a month after hitting two Bensalem Police cars at a motel parking lot in Bensalem. This was on February 28, 2024. Police tried to catch him but he got away.
They set up a drone to try to track him near a wooded area in Langhorne. All they found was his abandoned vehicle.
Yesterday, US Marshals got a tip that he was at an acquaintance’s residence in Somerdale New Jersey. They waited near the unit block of Shire Court and pounded on him when he left the property, said Robert Clark, the US Marshals Supervisor. Elovens did not resist and complied.
Before Bensalem can get their cuffs on him, Mercer County New Jersey will get him for charges there. When that is completed,he will be brought back to Bensalem for Aggravated Assault and related charges.
