Male Charged In Upper Bucks County Stabbing
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Panajotis Tafa could not come up with the $50,000 bail after he was arrested for an incident that many call sheer stupidity. Tafa and a 16 year old walked in to the Deliza Pizza, located at 460 E. Butler Avenue in New Britain Borough, on April 14, 2024 at approximately 2:30 PM. The 16 year old started an argument with employees and then allegedly went behind the counter to further escalate the incident by punching an employee in the face.. The employee then grabbed the boy and pinned him to the ground.
Police said that Tafa then ran back behind the counter and pulled a knife. That is when another employee tried to intervene but got stabbed in the arm by Tafa, who ran from the scene.
The juvenile was arrested and is facing charges as well. Tafa turned himself in and will face charges of
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (F2) TERRORIST THREATS (M1) POSSESSION INSTRUMENT OF CRIME (M1) SIMPLE ASSAULT (M2) RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT (M2)
