Driver Cuts Into Funeral Procession, Causes Crash On Roosevelt Boulevard
by Alex Lloyd Gross
A driver that did not see a funeral procession traveling through the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Welsh Road contributed to a crash at that intersection. At least two people were taken by medic unit to local hospitals.
The other driver, Nick Mancini from Lower Moreland refused treatment at the scene for injuries. This crash happened just after noon today. None of the injuries were said to be serious, police said.
While a vehicle in a funeral procession has the right of way according to state law, signage indicating a vehicle is part of a procession must be clearly displayed. A placard was visible laying on the dash of one of the vehicles.
