Police Arrest Male For Attempted Homicide In Trevose

Last night, Bensalem Police were called to an address on Boston Avenue, in the Trevose section. There were reports of a male stabbed . One of the callers stated that Angelo Torres-Nantipia, had just stabbed his father, Oscar Macas, in the chest, Bensalem Police said.

First arriving officers found Angelo Torres-Nantipia, 21, at home and he was armed with a knife. He surrendered without incident and was taken into custody and the knife was placed into evidence. Police found Oscar Macas on the rear deck with a serious stab wound to his chest, officials said..

Officers retrieved a trauma bag from the police vehicle, applied a chest seal, and performed other life-saving measures. Bensalem EMS personnel arrived and transported the victim to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was immediately taken into surgery. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

The victim is the stepfather of Angelo Torres-Nantipia. It was found that Oscar Macas had obtained a temporary (6-month) Protection from Abuse Order on March 13, 2024, from Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Matthew Weintraub for his stepson. Angelo Torres-Nantipia was charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Indirect Criminal Contempt and related charges. He was arraigned by District Justice Corryn Kronnagel and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $1,000,000 bail. Location
