Serious Accident In Front Of Torresdale Hospital

A serious two car crash caused Knights Road to be closed to traffic for about 45 minutes. The crash happened about 11:15 AM at the intersection of Knights and Ellicott Street.
Police said one car was going south when another vehicle made a left to turn into the hospital. That car then spun and came to rest near a pole.
Both drivers sustained injuries however police said they were not life threatening. The driveway to the hospital was block for over an hour, as police waited for a tow truck to arrive.
