A single family dwelling sustained serious damage after a quick moving fire ripped through it earlier this morning. No injuries were reported, officials said. The fire was reported about 11:20 AM on Regina Avenue, near Hulmeville Road.

Fire crews had heavy fire from the first floor and quickly went to work. Multiple hand lines were stretched and the primary and secondary searches turned up no victims. One dog was un accounted for.

The cause is still being determined. Fire investigators were observed near the front of the house, sifting through debris. The fire was declared under control about 11:30 AM, but crews remained on scene for several hours.
