Manhunt In Bensalem For Armed Car Jackers

UPDATE 5:30 pm POLICE CONFIRMED THAT ONLY ONE MALE WAS IN THE CAR AND THAT IS THE MALE THEY HAVE IN CUSTODY. THE VEHICLE, THE BLACK DODGE CHARGER WAS IN THE PHOTO IN THIS ARTICLE.

THE SUSPECT TOSSED SOMETHING FROM HIS CAR NEAR STREET AND TREVOSE ROADS. POLICE CHECKED THE AREA AND FOUND A CELL PHONE, NEAR SOME TRAIN TRACKS. THAT PHONE WAS TURNED OVER TO WARMINSTER POLICE.

AS OF THIS EVENING, THE MALE IN CUSTODY HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED. POLICE SAID CHARGES WILL COME FROM THE WARMINSTER POLICE DEPARTMENT. THERE WAS NO OTHER SUSPECT IN THE EDDINGTON AREA, POLICE SAID.

Police in Lower Bucks County converged on the area of Brown and Olga Avenues in the Eddington section of Bensalem. They were looking for a black male wearing a black hoodie , black pants and black ski mask. He was wanted for a robbery of a motor vehicle in Warminster Pa.

Warminster police said officers responded to the 200 block of E. County Line Road for a report of a car jacking. Police did not specify what kind of car was taken.

The suspects fled into Bensalem, one was caught and the other is not. Officers surrounded a vehicle on Brown Avenue and launched a drone to aid in their search. Other officers used K-9’s. There is no word from police on how the wanted suspect escaped, if he is on foot or if he got a ride.

On Brown Avenue police were swarming around a car with a smashed front end. Police did not say if that was the car the was stolen.
