Male In Wheelchair Arrested For Mayfair Shooting

Inside of Shaaf;s market,on the 3300 block of St.Vincent Street, Philadelphia Police said a male, identified as 39 year old Noel Fletcher got involved an an argument with another male. Fletcher was in a wheelchair and at one point,officers said pulled a handgun and fired, hitting the male in his abdomen and left shoulder, police said.
The shooting, which happened yesterday about 2:39PM left the 41 year old victim in critical condition. The shooter left the store in his wheelchair. He lived on the next block over, and was quickly arrested by detectives, a few hours later.
Fletcher was charged with Aggravated Assault, Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act (VUFA), and related offenses. Police did not say what the argument was about.
