Warminster CarJacker Identified and Charged

Warminster Police have identified Reynaldo Almanzar Rodriguez 18 of the 5000 block of Gransback Street in Philadelphia as one of the males involved in an armed carjacking on May 28, 2024. This happened on the 200 block of E. County Line Road. Police said that Rodriguez was with people that allegedly walked into a business and robbed a victim of car keys and a cell phone.

One of the males was in a Dodge Challenger , the other was in an orange Dodge Pick-Up truck. Both vehicles fled and police in Upper Southampton saw them and started a pursuit, police said in court papers. The vehicles traveled through Feasterville and eventually, the orange truck went into Philadelphia. The Dodge Challenger crashed and was abandoned at Brown Ave. and Eddington Avenues. The male taken into custody was identified as Rodriguez.

For a brief time, police thought they had an armed gunman on the loose. That turned out not to be the case. The others involved were nicknamed “Money” and “Mere”. The other male’s identity is unknown at this time. Rodriguez was picked up by the trio and told he could make some money by being there. He was allegedly given a black ski mask to wear. That mask was recovered by Bensalem Police.

The gun was a BB Gun modified to look like a real gun, police said in court papers.

Warminster Police charged Reynaldo Almanzar Rodriguez H/M/18 of the 5026 Gransback St Philadelphia with Robbery of a Motor Vehicle, Simple Assault, RSP, PIC, and Terroristic Threats, Suspect Rodriguez was arraigned before Judge O’Neill and remained to Bucks Co Prison on 10% of $250,000.00. They are still looking for the three other suspects.
