Identities Released In Mayfair Murder

Philadelphia Police were called to a neighborhood argument yesterday with the reports of a shooting. This happened on the 7100 block of Montauge Street. Upon arrival, they found 65 year old Patricia Shinn dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Residents said that Shinn and her neighbor, 64 year old William Pulver had been at odds for quite some time. For an unknown reason, things boiled over yesterday just before noon. Police said that Pulver allegedly shot Shinn then Pulver, for a brief time barricaded himself in his house.
SWAT was called and before long, he surrendered without further incident, police said. Pulver has been charged with murder, and having an unlicensed gun as well as related charges, police said.
