Motorcycle and Car Collide In Serious Crash On Welsh Road

A male driving a Honda motorcycle was involved in a serious accident on Welsh Road and Banes Drive earlier today. He was briefly trapped under a car and freed by firefighters. He was awake and talking and did not suffer life threatening injuries, authorities said.
Preliminary reports were that a car came from Banes Drive and collided with the cycle. Within minutes, there were three other vehicles involved. Police are trying to determine if these vehicles were all involved in the same accident or if a different crash occurred.
Three medic units were called to the scene. The crash happened about 8:15 AM . Welsh Road remained closed for about 90 minutes while the vehicles were towed.
