Joe Biden Drops Out Of Presidential Race
by Alex Lloyd Gross
As of this afternoon, Joe Biden will not be seeking the nomination from the Democratic Party for the office of President Of the United States. This comes less than a month after a disastrous debate appearance against Donald Trump. Biden endorsed his Vice President, Kamala Harris.
That does not mean that Harris going to the on the ticket. There has to be a vote in her favor at the Democratic Convention. The convention will happen later in Chicago. It will give the democrats time to find viable candidates. Not everyone supports Harris.
Gavin Newsome, Josh Shapiro and Bob Casey have been floated as possible candidates. Names are being dropped all over. Harris had a disaster of a debate performance with her calling Joe Biden a racist and other names. Harris then walked back those comments when she was selected to be Vice President. She could constantly but in with “I’m talking” and many called her annoying.

Whoever is picked must be able to raise money. While Biden could easily pull $25.00 donations, the party needs large donations and those large donors were scared off, not wanting to waste money on a candidate they thought of as having little to no chance to win.
In the meantime, Trump and Vance are starting to campaign across the country. Biden is expected to address the country later this week. This could also prove to be a boost for Robert F. Kennedy who is running as an independent. This announcement by Biden this late in the campaign has put his party in shambles. Many are saying if he stuck to his original promise in 2020 to run once and only once, democrats would be a lot better off.
