Three Comedians Deliver Laughs At Keswick Theater Show
by Alex Lloyd Gross
This weekend, three comedians, Tammy Pescatelli, Jim Florentine and Tom Cotter were at the Keswick Theater in Glenside Pa this weekend. It was funny. Each one had their own style and got laughs from the crowd.
Only Cotter dared to go near politics with impersonations of Biden and Trump. That is the safe way to do something, cut up both candidates so either no one is offended or everyone is offended equally. It was called the “No Apologies Tour” and the subject matter goes towards their families.
Pescatelli makes fun of her weight gain ( she looks perfect) but she is smart enough to not say that live. She will talk about her family and her relationships. It was funny because we can all relate to somethings that are going on in her life and she puts her individual spin on it. One of her lines is “Everyone in my life is a tax write off”.
Jim Florentine was next up and true to his word he talked about a lot of subjects besides his work on That Metal Show or even Ozzy’s Boneyard. He also talked about his phony phone calls and how he savaged telemarketers. When he was 15 he played records and made crank calls. He has never grown up, only now he gets paid for it.

When Tom Cotter took the stage, he contrasted the songs “Baby It’s Cold Outside” with a current hit called “Wet Ass Pussy”. It was to show how stupid some people have become when looking to find the next thing that will offend them.
After the show, the comedians took a few questions from the audience . Some asked the usual questions, such as how they all got together, when comedians are working shows they talk and then they find those that they would like to work together with and then, perhaps a short tour can be arranged.
Florentine was asked about his Crank Yankers work and he was also asked about his love for hard rock music.

This show was not sold out but there was more than enough people to make the place look full.
