It’s Time To Get Ready For High School Football

The support staff of the Roxborough Football team has fun trying to stay dry over the weekend as the team plays a scrimmage.

It’s the middle of August and if you check out the football stadiums at any local high school, chances are good you may find a practice session of even a scrimmage going on. They will happen in all kinds of weather except lightning.

It’s a way to keep youth engaged in something positive. You do not have to be athletic to join the team. There are spots open for statisticians, managers, support staff and even to help with public relations. The season runs through Thanksgiving, when many rivalries are played.
