Crash Causes Traffic Problems On Bustleton Pike

A single vehicle crash caused massive headaches for some drivers on busy Bustleton Pike earlier today. Police in Lower Southampton Twp. said that the driver suffered a medical emergency, when his car went perpendicular to the road and drove up a small hill before slamming into some trees.
The driver suffered minor injuries and there was no one else in the vehicle. The problem came when they had to get the vehicle out of the woods and loaded onto the wrecker. That required the road to be closed in both directions. for a period of time.
The crash happened on the 1500 block of Bustleton Pike just before 1:00 PM.
