Kamala Harris Gets Republican Support In Bucks County

Kamala Harris is a democrat. She is currently the Vice President Of the United States. She wants to be the president. Today, she held a stop at Washington Crossing State Park to court republicans. At least 100 of them showed up and some spoke and called her opponent Donald Trump dangerous.

The backdrop to the rally was an older barn. Some of the speakers were Adam Kinzinger, a former republican congressman and member of the January 6 Committee. During his remarks, he referred to Trump as bad for America.
About 3:50 PM Vice President Kamala Harris took the stage and blasted Trump, calling him dangerous and unfit to serve. . She spoke of Trump;s claims that he would use the United States Military to go after what he called “enemies from within” . She called that scary.

The remarks were done outdoors with the Delaware River in the background. Bullet resistant glass was strategically placed on the stage. It did not interfere with the sightlines of most of the attendees, who were older, and much less quiet than her rally just a few months ago at the Liacouras Center.
Harris said that Trump violated the oath he took when he did not accept the results of the 2020 election. Those that spoke called the mob at the United States Capitol “frightening”. This was not a policy speech or even a rally.
Pennsylvania is a key state and candidates have to win the electoral votes to be president. It can be done without winning Pa, but it is much harder. That is why both candidates are spending so much time here, with Trump holding a town hall that was derailed by medical emergencies. He stopped taking questions and stood on stage for 38 minutes, dancing to his playlist that was blaring over the speakers.

Harris took no questions from the media, and glad handed a few VIP’s that came out to hear her remarks. She spoke for about 30 minutes.
