Seven Year Old Girl Shot Inside Philly House

A seven year old girl was shot dead inside her house on the 3800 block of I Street yesterday . Police got a report of a shooting and when they arrived, they found the girl had been shot. Medics rushed her to St. Christopher’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 2:39 PM, police said.
A gun was recovered from inside the house. Police said that two people were inside the house when the shooting happened. It is being called accidental. No one has been arrested yet but that could change in the future. Police are going to check to see if the gun that was discharged was the same gun used .
Police have not yet released the identity of the child or where she was shot.
