Citizen Watch Group Nabs Sex Predator For Bensalem Police
by Alex Lloyd Gross
There are several organizations that troll the internet for child sex predators. They pose as children and when adults chat with them, they turn the conversation sexual, asking for naked photos or discuss sex acts. A meeting place is arranged and when the suspect shows up, they are confronted by these people, often with a video camera for use on social media. At times local police are called.
These types of internet confrontations have become violent and even led the confronted individual to commit suicide in the past. The Bensalem Township Police Department does not condone these types of confrontations and urges anyone who has information about a possible child predator to call the police before making contact so that the safety of all involved can be maintained and the prosecutorial integrity of these investigations can be preserved. It should also be noted that the Bensalem Township Police Department has a robust, proactive approach to identifying and prosecuting these types of offenders and has made numerous arrests for this type of illegal conduct.
That being said, the group calling itself “predator Poachers” arrived at the house of Bensalem resident Kieth Page, 67, he wanted to have sex with the 11 year old “girl” and arranged for her to meet. That meeting happened last night on Byberry Road.
Police were called and were met by the group and Page. Keith Page was interviewed by police and admitted to asking for and sending sexually explicit photos and engaging in sexually explicit conversations with the underage female. Keith Page was arrested and charged with Rape of a Child Under the Age of 13, Sexual Abuse of Children, Corruption of Minors, and related offenses. He was arraigned by District Justice Terrance Hughes and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $2,000,000 bail.
