Tik-Tok Now Back On For Us Users..For Now

Donald Trump said that he would issue an executive order that would protect any providers that helped keep Tik Tok in operation. Trump said he would make an announcement to try to broker a deal between the parent Company Bytedance and US investors. That negotiation could prove to be tricky.
The popular app went dark last night around 10:30. With the announcement, that billions in fines would not be levied, that gave confidence to bring the app back online.
Trump wanted his Inaugural broadcast over the app and now that looks like it will happen. Due to the change of location to inside, media credentials have been pulled from many members of the press. That has left many reporters and photographers scrambling to to to beg, borrow or try to get in anyway they can.

The result on this is going to be less different outlets credentialed to this event. People with the app on their phone could stream this live and give other angles not available to TV.
This has been a rallying cry against censorship and politicians trampling on the first amendments to the people.
Some have called this a political trick orchestrated by the Trump Administration to make him look good. Congress can always go back and repeal the law or tweak it . There was an uproar when the app went dark. This will be risky as a politician can find themselves unelected come next election.
