
Mother and Daughter Arrested For Interfering With Police and Assault

When 23 year old Shannen Fullerton was stopped by police on Street Road, near the General David Inn, on January 10, 2025 she became belligerent, police said. She should have cooperated and she might have gotten a ticket or maybe a warning. Police said she escalated things and before long, her mother , Audrey showed up to the scene.

As officers were giving Shannen a field sobriety test, Audrey began to interfere, and before long, the two women ganged up on an officer and allegedly started pushing and shoving her.. As Shannen was eventually handcuffed, police turned their attention to her mother, who initially was not subject to the traffic stop.

They reviewed dash cam and body cam footage and it showed Audrey allegedly striking a police officer in the face, after her daughter was placed under arrest. Police said she had slurred speech and resisted arrested.
Shannen was charged with assault, resisting arrest and related offenses. Audrey was charged with assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness. Her bail was set at $25,000. Her daughter had her bail set at $80,000.
