Crash Closes Route 13 In Bensalem

A serious crash happened yesterday morning on Rt.13 and Colonial Avenue in Bensalem. It was just after 7:00 AM when emergency workers got a call about the crash.
Two people were taken to local hospitals with serious but non life threatening injuries. Police were forced to close the road in both directions for about an hour until tow trucks could arrive and clear the wrecked cars and debris.
Authorities said that one vehicle make a left turn in front of another which caused the crash. Due to the early morning hour, Route 13 was not heavily traveled at the time of the crash.
