Appliance Repairman Assaulted Over Parking Spot In Warrington

When an appliance repairman arrived at an apartment on the 1700 block of Street Road back on January 7 2025, he was approached by an unknown black male who insisted he move his vehicle. This male was banging on the mans car window and acting irrationally. police said. The repairman ignored him and went about his business.
He came back to his vehicle about 10 minutes later and the same male was there and making threatening gestures to him. When the repairman went into his vehicle to deescalate the situation, he was pulled from the vehicle and thrown onto the ground, where he sustained serious bruising to his hip.
The unknown black male ran away. He was later identified as 23 year old Kyree Austin, from Landale. He did not even live in the apartment complex , police said. Austin had a warrant out for him and was arrested on March 3, 2025. He is charged with assault and harassment.
