Northeast Philly Male Accused Of Trying To Have Sex With Bensalem Minor

On March 4, 2025, Ian Evans, of Shiply Place in Philadelphia started to chat with what he thought was a 13 year old girl, on a dating app, police said. He quickly took the conversation to text messages where he is accused of sending her naked photos of himself. He also encouraged her to do the same, police said. all the while telling her about the things they would do sexually.
Over the next few weeks, Evans continued to message the girl about sex t subjects and he sent her photos of him masturbating and doing other acts as well. The girl he was conversing with was an undercover police officer.
Evans was now going to meet his young lover in the woods behind his work, for an encounter. On April 4, 2025 he left his place of work in Trevose and he had his encounter with police who arrested him. He never met the girl and instead he was charged with Sexual Abuse of Children, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Corruption of Minors, and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. He was arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $1,000,000 bail.
