Fire In Bristol Borough Keeps Fire Crews Busy
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Firefighters in Bristol Borough were kept busy just before noon today when they got a report of a house fire on the 1000 block of Radcliffe Street. When they arrived, the twin house was filling up with smoke from the area around the laundry room, borough fire chief Herb Slack said.

There were no injuries reported. According to Slack, the fire was contained the a dryer in the house. There was no fire damage to the home next door, however, smoke did seep through the walls to some extent. Extra companies were called to the scene due to manpower issues, Slack said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Children from the St. Mark School next door were being dismissed at the time firefighters were arriving.
