Two Common Criminals Wanted For Multiple Gunpoint Robberies In South Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police are looking for two black males who they say are responsible for at least three armed robberies of people minding thier business in South Philadelphia. One of those victims is a 68 year old man.

On July 30, 2025, at 10:00pm, the victim, a 68 year-old male, was walking on the 1500 block Catharine Street when he was approached by two unknown black males saying “Give it up”. One of the suspects was armed with a black and silver handgun. The males took $60 from the victim’s pocket then fled on foot east on Fitzwater St. The victim was not injured during this incident.

On July 30, 2025, at 11:00 pm, the victim, a 31 year-old male, was riding his bicycle on the 1100 block of Ellsworth Street when suspect #1 was standing in the middle of the street blocking the roadway. When the victim stopped his bicycle the suspect lifted his shirt displaying a handgun before demanding his property. Suspect #2 stood off to the side of the street acting as a “lookout”. Taken was the complainant’s backpack containing his iPhone, wallet and $60. Both suspects then fled west on Ellsworth towards 12th Street. No injuries were reported. Police surveyed the area of 1100 Ellsworth Street and recovered the complainant’s property including the backpack, iPhone, wallet and credit cards. The $60 was missing.

On July 31, 2025, at 12:09 AM, the victim, a 26 year-old male, was walking on the 1100 block of S. Mole Street when an unknown male approached him from behind and placed their hand covering the victim’s mouth. The suspect told the victim to be quiet and demanded his wallet while holding a handgun in his hand. When the victim gave the suspect his wallet he noticed there was no cash inside he fled the location without taking anything. No injuries were reported during this incident.

  1. The old saying is… Not “all” of “them” are bad people.
    And I agree.
    But these Daily Crimes being commited frequently by “those types” only tarnishes the black society’s reputation over and over, leading others to not want to be around them.
    Obviously, these criminals don’t care about that, don’t care about security cameras, and don’t care about other’s feelings, or lives.
    This rampant and dangerous, discusting behavior, has to be dealt with in a serious way.
