Male Arrested For Double Shooting/Murder In Logan

Philadelphia Police made a quick arrest after a double shooting on October 25, 2025, that left one male dead. It was about 4:50 AM when police found two males shot on the 400 block of Grange Street. They were called to the area for a report of a person with a gun.


Upon arrival, police found two people shot. One was in critical condition, having been shot multiple times to his chest area, police said. The other, Michael Davila Rivera, 25, of the 5000 block of North Fairhill Street was deceased, after being shot in the head.


The investigation lead police to Hudhayfah Trice, 28, of the unit block of North Ashmead Street. Trice was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, less than 48 hours after the shooting. . When Trice was taken into custody, a loaded handgun was found on him, police said. Trice is being held without bail.
