Male Pleads Guilty To Third Degree Murder From 2024 Killing

William Ingram entered a guilty plea to the killing of his mother, Delores Ingram, on June 15, 2024. She was 82 years old. The killing took place on Beacon Hill Court in the Holland section of Northampton Township. Police said William Ingram was under the influence of drugs when he went to his mother’s house and killed her.

Ingram also killed the family dog, stole his mother’s car, and drove to Washington, D.C. There, he fought with D.C. police and damaged a police vehicle. While in custody, he confessed to killing his mother. Washington, D.C. police then contacted Bucks County authorities, who conducted a welfare check at the home.

Delores Ingram was found buried under a pile of clothes and furniture. Police also found $535,000 in cash and drugs inside the residence.

William Ingram is scheduled to be sentenced on February 18, 2026. He faces a sentence of 26 to 54 years in state prison for the murder charge and related offenses. Judge Corr retains the discretion to add an additional 10 to 20 years for the drug offenses.

In addition to third-degree murder, Ingram also pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, abuse of a corpse, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and cruelty to animals.
