Three Teenagers Arrested For Armed Car jacking In Northeast and Shooting At Police

Philadelphia Police said that a 66-year-old man was at the Sunoco station at Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard last night around 11:35 p.m. He was approached by three males, one of whom was armed with a gun. They carjacked him and sped off in his Nissan Rogue, heading east on Cottman Avenue.

A short while later, police located the vehicle in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Montgomery Avenue. Police pulled the car over, and all three suspects fled on foot. One suspect fired a gun at police, but no one was hit. Police did not discharge their weapons.

All three suspects were arrested and charged as juveniles. One is 17 years old, and the other two are 16. police said.
