Juveniles Run Amok In Northeast, Cause Stores To Close

by Alex Lloyd Gross

If you need to get gas or food at a WAWA tonight, along the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, you can’t. All WAWA’s are closed for the night along the blvd, due to gangs of teenage thugs running wild, trashing the store, stealing items.

In the far Northeast, at least 15 police officers from around the area were dispatched to Roosevelt Blvd. near Byberry Road, where hundreds of teenagers were causing a disturbance in WAWA and also to the other stores in the area.

At one point, a nursing home was the target of some teenagers, and police were called. Officers stood by as the rowdy kids were put on SEPTA buses and shipped out of the area. It is unknown if any arrests were made.

  1. Partial blame goes to Social Media and those “apps”.
Another blame goes to the parents who don’t bring their kids up to respect others.
Welcome to the slophouse way of life in America.

  2. Just send your rowdy kids to a nice neighborhood to do some damage..let off some steam terrorize some shoppers because you don’t want them doing it in your neighborhood..total disgrace stores lost money people couldn’t get their shopping done and people were scared half to death

  3. It’s sad that these kids weren’t from this area. It’s a disgrace that their parents aren’t concerned about where their kids are. Of course unless something happens to them, then they see dollar signs & want to sue everyone & their mothers.

The other thing that stinks between the two districts there aren’t even 15 officers on duty at night😔 Your lucky if there are 2 on the street at each of these districts‼️ Per sq mile more cops should be working at these districts. The NE always suffers when it comes to money being allocated around the city‼️
