Warrington Male Turns Traffic Ticket Into Getting A Stay At the County Jail

by Alex Lloyd Gross

Andres Ortiz Columna ,20, of Warrington was the subject of a traffic stop in Warrington back on December 7, 2025. He was stopped on Oxford Drive and gave the officer his drivers license. During the traffic stop, the officer noticed live ammunition in Columma’s pockets and he was ordered out of the vehicle for more investigation.

Had he complied he would be in a bit of trouble but most likely he would be home. Instead, police said he sped off, nearly hitting a police car in his quest to get away, which he did for about a month, until officers found out he was living on Pileggi Road.

Police went to the home and arrested him without incident. He was charged with fleeing from police, which is a felony and reckless endangering another person. He was also issued seven traffic tickets for his escape.

He was determined to be a flight risk and held on $750,000 bail/10 percent cash. He could not pay it so he was transported to the Bucks County Prison where he will wait until his next court date.
