Abington Male Arrested For Sexual Assault In Lower Moreland

Back in September 2025 a young girl in her 20’s was sleeping over a friends house in Lower Moreland Twp. There were a total of five people there and they were having a good time. The girl decided to sleep on the couch as she had been drinking as had others .
She was awakened to someone trying to kiss her and that person is alleged to have climbed on top- of her. She was is a state of undress that she had not done herself. She then felt the male’s hands inside her private area and she was petrified, police write in court documents. She had never had a relationship- with or dated the male, who she identified as Matthew Flint of Abington.
The girl was in shock that this was happening to her and then Flint is alleged to have asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. She declined and managed to get up and run upstairs to be with her girlfriends.
Police were called and started an investigation. A warrant was issued for Flint who was arrested earlier this month. His charges include Aggravated Indecent Assault with out consent, indecent assault and related offenses.
Flint was released on $50,000 unsecured bail. His next court date is March 23, 2026.
