Violent Home Invasion On Massey Street In Philly.
According to preliminary police reports, this incident began when a 33-year-old male resident was approached by an unknown male suspect while entering his home. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded that the victim open the door. Once the victim complied, two additional male suspects followed them into the residence on the 2600 block of Massey Street.
Inside the home, a second resident, a 55-year-old male, received a call from a roommate alerting him that unidentified individuals were entering the premises. The 55-year-old confronted the intruders, leading to a physical altercation. During the struggle, the suspects pistol-whipped the resident multiple times on the head and back.

The suspects fled the scene shortly after the fight in a dark-colored pickup truck. Investigators confirmed that nothing was taken from the property.
Emergency medical services transported the 55-year-old victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. His current condition has not been released. There were no other reported injuries.
No arrests have been made, and police have not yet released a detailed description of the attackers.
