Chuck Norris died yesterday. He was 86 years young. Norris had a medical emergency in Hawaii when he passed. Tributes have been pouring in on social media about him.

He did come to Philadelphia at least one time in recent history. June of 2017 he was at Wizard World ( which is now Fan Expo) at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. He had a table signing, where he signed autographs for people and later in the day had a question and answer session. It was early afternoon when he made is presence felt on the convention floor. A swarm of people showed up to try to say hello and grab a quick picture of him. He stopped to chat with Lou Ferrigno before going to his booth.

That panel session was moderated where the moderator asked all of the questions instead of fans asking questions. Norris said he enjoys hearing comparisons and explanations of things happening that involve him. For example: The building fell down on it’s own because Chuck Norris was hired to do the demolition” .

Norris was not just a martial artist, he was an actor, starring in movies and TV shows like Walker, Texas Ranger. In 1972 He fought Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon. Norris is survived by a very large family.
