Errant Driver Slams Car Into Trees and Almost Hits House In Mayfair

by Alex Lloyd Gross

About 10:30 AM police, fire and medics were called to Sackett and Levick Streets in the Mayfair section of the city for an accident. Upon arrival, a car was resting on a hill, near a house after knocking over bushes and damaging trees on the front yard.

Apparently, from police on scene, the driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole, which caused him to lose control and hit the shrubbery. That driver sustained non life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Wet roadways contributed to the crash, authorities said.

There were no other vehicles involved. The car was totaled.
