Employee of Warrington Home Depot Arrested For Substantial Theft

Warrington Police announced the arrest of Freddy Iban Madrid-Lopez from Philadelphia and charged him with Theft by Unlawful Taking. According to police, his scam worked like this;

He had two different accomplices that would select merchandise and then go to the self checkout line. Madrid-Lopez would then work the register to void the sale, police said.The accomplices would then leave the store with unpaid merchandise. The value was over $7400.00 according to police.

Madrid Lopez was 19 years old. He thought he found a loophole in the system that he could profit from it worked for a bit until he got caught. Police arrested him and he is being held in the Bucks County Prison under $50,000 bail/ 10 percent.

Additional charges may be forthcoming.

    Young, latin, hired to handle sales, the lure of free money by deception…
    President Trump’s “cleaning of the swamp” honestly needs to be expanded beyond the political crowd.
    Crimes like this amount to consumers forced to pay more out of their pockets.
